[Columbia, SC Photographer] Recent Family Photography

These past couple of weeks could not have been better.  I had the most amazing time with my family over Thanksgiving and then my Gamecocks won against our state rival, Clemson.  I guess you could say that I’ve been in a celebration mode since then.  And, what’s to come.  Why it’s Christmas!  A couple of weeks on Cloud 9 and then back to normal.  Hopefully, I’ll stay there, lol:)

My clients over the past couple weeks have been amazing, no matter what state university they were from.

Four Generations of Women [Columbia, SC Lifestyle Family Photographer]

I recently had the pleasure to capture the images for a family that will definitely be cherished for a lifetime.  When the mother of the charming little girls below first contacted me, she mentioned that she was visiting family and wanted to capture Four Generations of Women while she was visiting her family.  Time presented a rush since she and her girls would soon be flying back to Paris, France…where they’ve lived the past couple years…and love it she says!  I, too, remember how important it was for me to have a photograph taken with my daughter, me, my mother and grandmother together…so when I listened to the message I just knew I had to make arrangements in my schedule to accomodate.  The weather for our time together (and for the entire day for that matter) was less than cooperative, but we still we able to capture some beautiful images that I hope this mom will love forever and ever.

Brother and Sister [Columbia, SC Children’s Photographer

These two are so beautiful and I loved every minute of spending time with them.  From all the wardrobe changes, to the bugs bitting our legs…they were troopers the entire time.

Miss B looks just like her Dad and Mr B looks just like his Mom…but, ever so often you can catch a glimpse of their other parent in their facial expressions.  Here are some below.

Three Beautiful Families [Chapin, SC Children's Photographer]

This summer has been a whirlwind and I’m so behind on my blogging.  I just had to put these sweet photographs up today because the families have already viewed their slideshows & I completely forgot about my blog.  Shame shame on me!

The day I photographed this family started out early on the water and the sun was already beating down on us at 8:30 in the morning.  But, the kiddos were all excited and ready to have fun.  And, that’s just what we did.  Had fun.

The first family was these two precious girls who have the cutest looks ever.  I adore some of the expressions we were able to get on their faces.  The oldest sister is one of the most mature little three year olds that I’ve met – to date…and I have a three year old, so I know what I’m talking about.  Ha, ha!

Next on the agenda was Miss L with her little blonde hair and soft baby blues.  So cute and so spunky!

Can’t you just pinch those little cheeks?

Then, Mr. Handsome T.  All boy.  And all fun!  His expressions when he saw the cat in the yard were adorable!

Little One Year Old [Greenwood, SC Children's Photographer]

Little E is about to turn 1 coming soon and he’s quite the little crawler able to quickly grab at just about anything laying in front of him.  That helped us be able to capture tons of full movement shots of him as we just let him crawl and play towards his toys & his sweet Mommy.  I just love how this little one’s eye’s sparkle and I had to pinch and remind myself to get more that just photos of his eyes, lol:)  So, his Mommy helped me from behind with her sweet songs along with mine to the baby guitar sounds of “Quack, Quack”.  Guess you had to be there…Here are some that I wanted to share.

Oh, and the last photograph was one that I had to include because there was a lowercase ‘e’ drawn in the sun I saw while photographing…

5 Minus 2 Makes 3 [Irmo, SC Children's Photographer]

So I had the pleasure of spending time with  3 out of the 5 kids:)  The 2 remaining are teens and have quite the busy life…so, I’ll have to fit my schedule into their busy schedule, lol…

Anyway, the mom of this awesome family is a very special friend of mine.  She wanted me to update her children’s portraits for her home to reflect her modern contemporary style with black and white headshots of each of her kiddos.  2 more left to go.  Here’s a small sampling of what we got from 3 out of 5.

The Bird Whisperer

We ended up being surrounded by tons of birds today!  Thanks to good ole’ Daddy:)  And, I say ‘we’…but, really it was B AND all B!  She was leading the entire flock of birds.  {Notice the crackers in her hands.}

There were so many birds out today and no people.  Probably because it was so cold and cloudy outside.  But, my husband had other ideas for us & it created lots of fun for B as she led her flock down the beach.

Here are some of the photos…
