Taking pictures of adorable children is quite a warm & fuzzy feeling.  This next brother and sister duo to the blog have captured my heart.  And, spend a couple minutes with these two and you’ll be smitten, as well.

This is my 2nd time photographing these precious angels.  I met their family after a client / friend of mine referred them to me and we took Spring Photographs of their family this past spring.  We had such a great time together, so I knew that our Fall Session would be just as fun.  I was so right.  I’ve grown to love the warm, sensitive & loving nature this brother & sister have for each other.  And, we captured that spirit in these photographs.

I knew immediately when I began talking with this Mom that she “truly’ knew what she was looking for upon hiring me.  Her kindness, excitement and genuine love for her family completely reminded me what everything I do is all about.  Once our conversation ended, I knew that our session was going to be incredible because our goals were united.  And, these are just a few of the emotional captures we got from the day. 

I love the color and texture from the baby photograph below.  His room was a bright green, with hits of blue and chocolate brown here & there…and, this particular portrait will look perfect on display above his crib in canvas or displayed in chocolate using a whimsical & fun frame.  The way his little hands clasped together and feet pulled up so perfectly was very sweet.

Look at how adored he already is by his older brother?  And, notice how he looks at his brother’s little hands as if to say, “Were mine ever this small”?  If he only knew how quickly time flies…

 These girls really have my heart!  Each time we get together for our photography session, they know exactly how to kick-start the event – with fun, excitement & the ever-so-lovely ALL GIRL delivery, lol!  And, that’s what makes our time so fun & unique.

Sometimes you meet people that you instantly connect with and can share experiences with, likes / dislikes, children & mommy conversation…and, these people were those people.  Warm, caring & incredibly full of love towards their son…and, downright beautiful.  All three of them:) 

So I took over a month off and had surgery and the whole summer seems like it’s come and gone.  Now I’m trying to pick up the pieces and get back to where I was before all of that and, HOLY GUACAMOLE…my blog has been sitting here all by it’s lonesome for far too long.  I have to say that getting back on and writing is quite fun, but much more time consuming than just posting updated pics and news on Facebook.  Yet, it’s a necessity.  My beginnings were here and (I digress) truly need to spend more time nurturing and giving a little bit of love to this blogdiddy of mine:) 

Now that things are back in full swing I’m booked through September (for the most part).  I came back from surgery and had my first shooting of a precious little one year old that had such a charming personality and smiled for the better part of an hour and a half.  Here’s what I mean…

Proverbs 126…”Behold, children are a gift of the Lord…”
