I can’t tell you how incredibly awesome it feels to have my blog back in order, and ever-the-more-improved by Jason at www.oturia.com .  This company exceeded my expectations by meeting my deadline and needs for what I was looking for.  I first saw Jason’s work with  www.clickinmoms.com and I reached out to him, thereafter.  And, I’m so glad I did.  Thanks again, Jason.

So, now that I’m back to blogging, I’m ready to share the photo sessions I’ve been working on.  I’ve been waiting patiently to blog about this next brother / sister duo.  The phrase “beauty and brains”, exemplifies both of these guys.

We started the session at the family home and then warmed up to one another.  Mom asked me where I wanted to take the photographs in her yard, and as I was driving into the neighborhood I noticed this gorgeous area with beautiful trees near the water.  So, all four of us got back in the car and drove to that spot in the neighborhood.  Mom stayed in the car for quite some time…so that she didn’t get in the way of her teenagers and what we were going for.  Sometimes this is the best decision a  parent can make when getting photos done of their children.  I remember a dozen times I’ve had to do that and get out of the way and my daughter is only 6 years old.  Fortunately, we were able to deliver some really loving moments between these two siblings that I know this mother is going to love.

Taking pictures of adorable children is quite a warm & fuzzy feeling.  This next brother and sister duo to the blog have captured my heart.  And, spend a couple minutes with these two and you’ll be smitten, as well.

This is my 2nd time photographing these precious angels.  I met their family after a client / friend of mine referred them to me and we took Spring Photographs of their family this past spring.  We had such a great time together, so I knew that our Fall Session would be just as fun.  I was so right.  I’ve grown to love the warm, sensitive & loving nature this brother & sister have for each other.  And, we captured that spirit in these photographs.

I knew immediately when I began talking with this Mom that she “truly’ knew what she was looking for upon hiring me.  Her kindness, excitement and genuine love for her family completely reminded me what everything I do is all about.  Once our conversation ended, I knew that our session was going to be incredible because our goals were united.  And, these are just a few of the emotional captures we got from the day. 

I love the color and texture from the baby photograph below.  His room was a bright green, with hits of blue and chocolate brown here & there…and, this particular portrait will look perfect on display above his crib in canvas or displayed in chocolate using a whimsical & fun frame.  The way his little hands clasped together and feet pulled up so perfectly was very sweet.

Look at how adored he already is by his older brother?  And, notice how he looks at his brother’s little hands as if to say, “Were mine ever this small”?  If he only knew how quickly time flies…
