Easter Portraits [Children's Photographer in Columbia, SC]

Easter is such a special time of year for so many reasons!  Many of you, I’m sure, have already started that endless search for the ‘perfect’ Easter Dress or little boy wear.  Some of you have already picked out a new Easter basket so your little bunny can hunt those eggs in style this season.

I have to admit that the cold weather can go away as quickly as it came…just my opinion.  I’m ready for Color!  Spring!  Summer!  Life!  And, that’s what I was so hoping for with our Easter Sessions coming up.  Throw away your inhibitions and Jump into Spring this year!  How about shades of Green, Hot Pink, Blue & one of my personal favorites…Coral!  Shades that make me just think about warmer days and life under an umbrella drinking a Mai Tai…well, uhm…back to reality.  You have to admit, though, you’re thinking of warmer days, too.

And, here are a few Easter ideas for you…only they’re in the form of a Photo Card.  That’s cool, isn’t it?  I think it is.  Easter Photo Cards to send to family and friends of your cute little bunny this year.  Perhaps with an updated photograph with all of your family?  Maybe even little mini cards to give out to your child’s school mates, along w/ sweet treats:)  They’re all sure to please!

Family Beach Fun [Columbia, SC Family Photographer]

The weekend started out so fun with this Family of Three.  Dad had places in mind where he wanted to take pictures and we all were ‘game’ for a little scavenger hunt for the best place to photograph.  We went down dirt roads, beach -front property and  much more.  Some of my favorites were along the streets off the beaten path….But, I have to say that any of the places would’ve been awesome!  I can’t wait until our next family session because my mind has so many more ideas in mind for next time.

Little C is so fun to work with.  He lights up in front of the camera and has such a sweet personality.  Those blue eyes melt my heart every time:)

Little Miss S [Columbia, SC Newborn Photographer]

This little lady was such a doll from the moment I arrived to take photographs.  Her mother was so prepared and so accomodating that everything was so easy.  Mom was so beautiful the whole time with baby.  The love and joy was evident with each touch she gave.

And, when Little S decided to cry just a little, her mommy sang melodies that lulled the little lady to sleep.

Birthday [Columbia, SC Photographer]

So it’s my birthday tomorrow and I’m kind of excited.  Not because I’m expecting gifts or stuff like that (I’m really not that material) but, because I’m looking forward to my 35+ years…as I’ve reached that next demographic:)

I certainly feel more comfortable in my skin at 35 than I did in my 20′s.  Just hoping that I age gracefully…

Enough about me…ugh!  My daughter used the word ‘similar’ today in a sentence and in the accurate context it should be used.  She then ellaborated that we (my daughter & I) were similar.  And, then I made a silent gasp.  Not a gasp of surprise or anything like that, but one of pride.

Similar to taking a deep, deep breath for air.  That explains my pride.
